13 Most Commonly FORGOTTEN Wedding Details

There are so many things to remember for you wedding day. That's where a planner comes in. To take care of all the little details. At least every couple has forgotten one of these items. Especially if you are planning your wedding yourself.



1. A bustle video

Your mom or maid of honor may have learnt how to do it and has forgotten at this point. Your maid of honor could be MIA. Instead of taking forever to figure it out, have a video ready that can be viewed by someone else present.

2. Feed Yourself

You are going to be very busy. Therefore you need fuel. The last thing you want to do is pass out at the alter. That is not a cute look when you are trying to get hitched. Assign this task to your mom, an aunt or someone else. Let them make sure fresh food shows up for you and your bridal party to eat. You all will be very busy and on your feet through out the day.

3. An Emergency Kit

Prepare an emergency kit with all the items you might need. A safety pin, makeup to touchup, tampons/pads, Tylenol and so many other items you might need. Assign someone to be in charge of it so they know where it is at all times.

4.Vendor Meals

Most vendors have it in their contract that you have to provide their meals. Think about it, vendors will be at your event for a good number of hours. Make sure your caterer understands that it is not just your guests getting fed. Your vendors need to be accounted for too.

5. Ice

Especially if you are having an outdoor event in the summer time. A good rule of thumb is 1lb per person. Or 1.5lb to be on the safe side because ice melts.

6. An overnight bag

Make sure its either at the hotel room already or its in the getaway vehicle.

7. Tips

Have them in envelops with the vendor's name on it. Make sure you give it to a designated person to pass out for you so you are not scrambling last minute.

8.Water

Its best to start hydrating a few days before so you are glowing and don't get dehydrated or pass out.

9.Cash and ID

You would be surprised but some hotels would not let you in without a ID card. Do not get stranded on your wedding night at 2am.

10. Eyelash Glue

Eyelash glue is water soluble. If you start crying, those bad boys are going to look really tacky. If you can, go for the individual lashes, if you loose a few, that will not affect your overall look.

11. Vendor Overtime Fees

Make sure you understand what the fees are if you will be needing your vendors to go over the agreed upon time. You do not want to be slammed wit an outrages overtime fee that you did not foresee.

12. Teardown Crew

One of the most overlooked items of your wedding day. Make sure you look over your contract. Don't just tell your coordinator that they will do it, make sure the crew knows they are doing it.

13. Point Person

This is where the wedding day-of coordinator so no one is coming up to you and asking you questions. They handle all the chaos behind the scenes so you can enjoy your wedding day. If you can't hire one, designate a person for this.
